Fear of failure. It's so real. But do you want to know a secret? If you let the fear of failing keep you from moving toward the situation that you are fearing, your life will never, ever have the impact that you desire. If you allow that fear to keep you from taking a step or facing a situation head on, you will most definitely lose as you become a prisoner to the fear. Ultimately, you have failed because you never took the chance.
Excuses. We’ve all given them at one point or another. Some of us may be more prone to give excuses in the area of social commitments and others when it comes to maintaining a healthy routine. On occasions, I’ve definitely made excuses for why I didn’t want to wake up for an early morning workout: My body needs some recovery time (When really it’s been 2-3 days since a good workout). Or given justification as to why attending an evening event was not doable: This week has just been SO BUSY. (And honestly, I know that being social is exactly what I need to break me out of my withdrawn routine.)
