Do you ever suffer from “brain fog”? I’m sure at one point or another you’ve been unable to think clearly, leading to confusion and often times a severe lack of productivity. Whatever your reasons might be (lack of sleep, hormone imbalance, exhaustion, poor nutrition just to name a few….) it’s safe to say that brain fog can be quite frustrating and distracting for almost anyone.

Our society spends a lot of time and money on the latest and greatest to keep our bodies strong, but what about the mind? What about your mental wellness? When is the last time you did something for your thought life?

Now maybe you’re thinking “why does my thought life matter when it comes to my level of wellness”? The truth is, our bodies are an integrated and sophisticated system. Studies even show a direct connection between our brain and our gut. It seems that what we feel and think affects how we digest our food. The food choices we make can promote healthy, positive thoughts or cause our brains to function at minimum capacity. The choice is ours!

Choose today to strip away the distractions and make time to slow down, regroup and focus on your level of wellness in all areas. Be determined to have a strong, clear and focused mind so that you can maintain healthy habits for food and fitness as well.

In health,
Alecia
