Changing of the Seasons

Dear Aspen reader,

My favorite season of the year is autumn.

In Michigan (where I'm from, originally) it's a time of great beauty as summer temperatures fade to cooler weather and the colors on the trees change from shades of green to hues ranging from bright salmon reds to light tans. In the midst of a process that actually signifies the decay of nature and closing of a chapter, I find so much hope in what was… looking forward to what will be.

Do you live your life like that? Are you looking forward into the unknown with hope or do you find difficulty in viewing the future with positive thoughts?

As we move into October, Aspen Wellness celebrates another year of informing, educating and empowering women toward lives of total wellness. And I want to offer a thank you for joining in the journey!

My goal is that, each year, Aspen Wellness grows in one way or another. It’s not about the website views. It’s not about the followers. It’s not about the image. It’s about building on a strong foundation and going deeper to encourage wholeness in the lives of women.

In year one, articles were the focus. I began to provide informative writings on a variety of wellness-related topics that encourage readers to eat well, move well and be well.

During year two, free resources and a free annual challenge became another facet of what Aspen Wellness has to offer to encourage integrated living with regards to food choices, movement and self-care.

As we move into year three, my goal is to go deeper to provide information and to educate women on wellness related topics. Do you ever feel confused about what’s what, when it comes to food or fitness? Are you ever overwhelmed by the options, the buzz words and the fads? This year, I’m excited to introduce the Aspen Insider (coming in January)! Part of the Aspen Wellness Weekly will be dedicated to clarifying and casting light on areas of wellness that might seem a bit muddled while seeking to keep you informed on the hottest and greatest in the wellness world.

I hope you’re as excited as I am to stay up to date and keep yourself in the know; because knowledge holds power. The more truths that you know, the greater your ability to create a life of wholeness as you seek to Find a Healthier You.

In health,

Alecia
