Conceive, believe, achieve.
Dear Aspen reader,
Did you know that your thought life is extremely important to your level of wellness? Do you ever pay attention to the thoughts you’re thinking? Let me tell you this truth, what you think in your heart, you will ultimately become. As I was growing up, my dad used to say the phrase, “You can be your own worst enemy or your greatest encourager. You choose.” Plain and simple, the choice to choose our thoughts and to decide what we will believe is ours alone. Over time, your thoughts can serve as the greatest cheerleader or biggest nemesis. Those beliefs often become the lens through which we view most events in life and push us onward toward a positive goal or drag us down.
What are you choosing to believe about yourself, day in and day out? Do you think that you’ve got the tools you need to succeed and lead a life of wellness or are you sabotaging yourself before you even take steps towards healthy living?
I want to encourage you to think good thoughts about yourself. I want to challenge you to think of yourself as an overcomer in the area of food, fitness and self-care. I want to inspire you to nurture your mind. And the best part is that the vitality of your thought life can be built up by choosing healthy foods, taking time for fitness and rest.
Start small and start today!
In health,
Alecia
