Do you ever find yourself stressed in the mornings as your alarm buzzes and the coffee begins to brew? Are you alert, enlivened and ready to take on the day or struggling to wake up? Mornings should be a time of sweetness as you anticipate the beauty of another day, but instead I often find myself waking up in anticipation of the tasks the day holds. Especially as summer starts to wind down and schedules begin to fill, the morning routine can start to become chaotic.

One thing is certain, our words hold power and have the ability to act as a rudder to a ship. What we say becomes what we believe. Instead of allowing negative thoughts, feelings or worries to flood our minds in the morning I invite you to Rise and Shine with Aspen Wellness!

As we move into the “back to school” season, I want to encourage you to #riseandshine by positioning your mind for positivity – first thing every morning! Each week, you’ll receive a short note with a positive confession that can easily be included in your morning routine. These confessions will help to start your days off on the right foot.

Nothing too simple, just:

1. Wake up.
2. Proclaim the positive confession aloud.
3. Move into your day.
4. Repeat the next morning.

Start now by creating space for positive thoughts to grow. You’ll be amazed at how this simple exercise can direct your days!
